It's a light water-based lotion carrying SPF 50, and part of that protection comes from titanium dioxide — a mineral filter that sits on the surface of the skin rather than soaking into it. It spreads quickly over small arms and legs, stays faintly visible for a second so you can see where you've been, then settles. Sunflower Seed Oil, Avocado Oil and Vitamin E are there for afterwards, when skin has had a full day of salt, chlorine and sun.
